The new Sungrow SBR battery with lithium-iron-phosphate technology with prismatic-shape cells and high voltage system are the perfect match to both single-phase SH3.6-4.6-5.0-6.0RS and three-phase SH5.0-6.0-8.0-10RT hybrid inverters.
Modular design with towers up to 8 battery modules
The battery with a modular “block” design of 3.2 kWh can form towers from 9.6 to 19.2 kWh, that is with a minimum of 3 batteries and a maximum of 6 if connected to single-phase hybrids, while on three-phase machines the capacity range it is extended up to 25.6 kWh or up to 8 batteries in series.
Through a future update it will be possible to connect up to 4 homologous “towers” on the same inverter so that the maximum capacity for the three-phase inverters is about 100 kWh, while with the single-phase it will stop just under 80 kWh.
Indoors and outdoors installation
The IP55 degree of protection and the wide temperature range mean that this battery can be used for both indoor and outdoor sheltered installations.
Installation is simple and easy, thanks to the small size, the low weight of the single module and the practical handles, the battery can be handled by only one person. Commissioning is automatic, the Sungrow iSolarcloud app recognizes it automatically.
High safety standards and durability over time
Sungrow offers the highest safety standards by having VDE 2510-50, UN38.3, IEC 62040 and IEC 62619 certifications, plus the warranty is 10 years with 80% residual capacity, one of the highest commercial standards of the moment.

The system consists of 3.2 kWh stackable battery modules pre-wired with LiFePO4 prismatic cells for added safety and stability.
Starting with 3 battery modules, up to 8 modules can be connected per system. In this way, from 9.6 kWh up to 25.6 kWh is available, the system can be expanded over time by adding battery modules or by paralleling up to 4 systems of 8 modules.
Each battery module weighs only 33 kg which makes it movable even by one person, the plug & play connectivity system makes installation of the product extremely simple.
After installation, the hybrid inverter automatically recognizes and configures the battery.
10 year guarantee and safety
The battery has been certified to the latest safety standards, including the stringent VDE2510-50. The system was also designed with more redundant measurement levels, for maximum safety.
