Free-standing installation
An important feature of this inverter is the possibility of being installed directly on the ground, resting on the supplied rubber feet or fixed to profiles anchored with ballast. You can purchase the UMS_Kit-10 kit that allows for ground or wall mounting using the brackets included in the kit.
SMA ShadeFix
The inverter is equipped as standard with SMA ShadeFix, an active shading management function. SMA ShadeFix uses MPP tracking to identify the maximum power point even in the presence of shading. Thanks to SMA ShadeFix, the inverter constantly optimizes the energy available from the photovoltaic modules, thus improving the performance of partially shaded systems.
Slots for additional modules
The inverter’s communication module has two slots for additional modules, available as accessories. The modules that can be installed are: SMA RS485 Modules, SMA Sensor Module, SMA I/O Module.
