VP Solar releases the new Stand Alone price list for all its professional customers, resellers and installers.
VP Solar’s new Stand Alone price list presents a range of products that allow to create a complete, self-sufficient energy management system.
Stand-alone systems for grid-independent solutions
The stand-alone system operates independently of the distribution grid: the energy produced is stored in batteries and used directly on site.
Ideal solutions for isolated cabins, shelters, campers, boats, solar street lights and more
In order to accurately design a stand-alone photovoltaic system, it is essential to conduct a thorough analysis of the variables influencing the system.
These include:
- the average irradiance
- the equivalent hours of daylight
- the orientation
- slope and shading.
In addition, it is also important to consider the variables related to energy use, such as utility load, time of use and autonomy.
Steca Charge Regulators
Inside VP Solar’s Stand Alone catalogue there are various products including Steca charge controllers for small and large stand-alone systems, available with PWM technology and of shunt type (needing 36 or 72 cell modules), as well as with MPPT technology in order to adapt to the modules that usually are used in grid-connected systems (with different numbers of cells such as 54 or 66).
Steca with PWM technology
The products with PWM technology are the SolSum, PR and Solarix PRS series, and also the charge controllers with advanced Tarom and Power Tarom functions.
Steca with MPPT technology
As MPPT regulators, we have Solarix MPPT and Tarom MPPT for large systems.
Steca Inverters
All the inverters produced by the Bavarian Company Steca, are pure sine-wave, so that even the most critical energy loads can be supplied.
Among the various products, there are the simple Solarix PI series inverters with power not exceeding the kW and the advanced Xtender series inverters that have additional features such as the control for external backup generators, they can also create a three-phase systems with a star connection.
FIAMM batteries
Considering the batteries, in the off-grid systems lead batteries are widely used. Fiamm produces excellent batteries with AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology, in which the acid is held in glass fibres with the advantage that they can be placed in any position. The capacity of the 12V batteries ranges from a few Ah up to 200 Ah.
