Decades of investment in research and development, high-quality standards, environmental responsibility, and respect for workers’ rights are the main reasons that speak in favour of solar products of European origin.
But how can you be sure that the EU-declared solar modules are really made in the EU? Demand the Factory Inspection Certificate! It is the only document that guarantees that PV modules are manufactured in the production that the producer states.
What does Factory Inspection Certificate stand for?
The Factory Inspection Certificate identifies the production location and specifies the serial numbers, which have to be visible at the back of the PV module confirming their origin. The inspection procedure is based on the control of all production steps and processes that lead to the final product and is done by a certification authority, in the case of BISOL by OVE Austrian Electrotechnical Association. The certificate is valid for one year and during this time the factory location is under the periodic surveillance program that regularly checks the compliance with several standards such as PV module safety qualification, PV technology-dependent modifications to the testing procedures and construction requirements for PV modules.

On the back of all BISOL Solar Modules, you will find the serial numbers that confirm the EU origin of the products.
The highest standards in all production processes
BISOL top-quality products are a reflection of the highest industry standards and the strictest quality criteria, under which we operate at all of the more than 100 stages of the production process.
Manufacturing a quality product starts with using quality materials, which are subjected to the strictest quality control by checking durability to destruction in their climate chamber.
Of utmost importance are also the many internal tests that literally every BISOL solar module goes through, such as electroluminescence test, peel force test, flashing or power scan with solar illumination simulation, together with numerous load and fire resistance tests.

100% traceability leads to the best quality
Continuous product monitoring is very important, therefore BISOL designed a unique custom-made tracking system with QR codes, which offers complete module traceability of data on all workstations.
In addition, BISOL went a step further also by upgrading technological equipment with internal knowledge and machine learning techniques to the level of Industry 4.1. All this ranks BISOL among the most advanced solar industry companies worldwide.
