Automatic updates with KOSTAL Solar Portal and the AutoUpdate function

The new KOSTAL Solar Portal released last year follows the proven Red Dot Award winning KOSTAL Solar App for its easy-to-use functions and intuitive controls.

To the proven dashboard-based functions that include reliable and always up-to-date data analysis, fully configurable reporting and alarms, it has been added a very interesting new feature for the three-phase inverters of the PLENTICORE plus, PIKO IQ and PLENTICORE BI series which is AutoUpdate.

AutoUpdate functionality

This new feature is already present in the latest UI 01.18 firmware release and it will only be necessary to confirm it during commissioning.

If, on the other hand, you have an inverter that has a previous version, you will need to update the machine to UI 01.18 through the fast and proven method based on the inverter’s internal webserver and then activate the AutoUpdate function.

New features and future compatibility at any time

In this way you will always have a system “in step with the times” that will be able to take advantage of new features and future compatibility without incurring risks and problems thanks to the structure of the server capable of guaranteeing IT stability and security.
