This low-voltage DC-coupled battery is optimized for SolarEdge Hub and Wave inverters. It stores energy and supplies both grid-connected loads and off-grid loads.
Modular system up to 23 kWh
SolarEdge Home Battery 48V is made up of 4.6 kWh lithium-ion stackable modules. Each system can be assembled from 1 up to a maximum of 5 modules, reaching a capacity ranging from 4.6 kWh to 23 kWh.
The design of these batteries includes many new safety features including a number of temperature sensors to protect the battery from overheating.
One APP to install and manage the complete system
SolarEdge provides a single APP to optimize production, consumption and backup power, solar energy management, storage, charging of electric vehicles and smart devices.

Due to the direct DC coupling it has a round-trip efficiency up to 94.5%.
